When your travel to out of the way places like gerudo dessert it feels like a real journey because you know it will take you a while to get back anywhere else. When you get to town you really need to stock up on arrows and gear and make some meals because you may but come across an opportunity to resupply for some time. It sounds crazy to do that in such a huge world, and maybe it is, but it really makes the game feel like an Adventure. To really enjoy breath of the wild, you need to just go really slowly and let your natural curiosity guide you, not the game's state objectives or desire to grow stronger.įor me, the game really clicked when I stopped using fast travel all together.
